Sri Lanka FAQ
If the ETA is free, why pay you?
The government fee has indeed been waived for Israelis ($0), and we show that with full transparency. The payment here is only for the service: we complete the official English form, check it against your passport, and file it for you — so you don't make mistakes or get stuck. Anyone who prefers can of course apply themselves on the official site.
How long will the authorization take?
Usually within 24–72 hours. We recommend filing a few days before your flight to be safe.
How long is the ETA valid?
30 days from your first entry, with a double-entry facility within the period. Staying beyond 30 days requires a separate paid extension in Sri Lanka.
Free Sri Lanka ETA — what it actually means
From 25 May 2026, Sri Lanka waived the tourist ETA fee for nationals of 40 countries, Israel among them. This means the 30-day tourist authorization carries no government fee, with a double-entry facility from the first entry date. However, the authorization remains mandatory — every traveler, including nationals of the exempt countries, must obtain an ETA online before arriving in Sri Lanka. Without an approved authorization in advance, you may be denied boarding.
What we do for you
We take on completing the official English application on the government ETA site: passport details, personal details, travel dates, and your accommodation address in Sri Lanka. A real person checks that every detail matches your passport exactly — because a small mismatch can delay the authorization or cause problems at the airport. You fill in a short Hebrew form, upload a passport scan, and receive your approved ETA by email.
Full price transparency
We believe in full transparency: the government fee for Israelis is $0, and we show that clearly in the price breakdown. What you pay is solely our service fee for the filing — with no hidden costs. Anyone who prefers to apply themselves can do so directly on the government site; we're here for those who'd rather we do it correctly for them.
