Ethiopia FAQ

30 days or 90 days — which should I choose?

For most visits 30 days is enough. For a long stay or an extended trip, choose 90 days. Both options are single entry.

I have a stopover in Addis Ababa — do I need a visa?

If you stay in the airport transit area, usually not. If you want to leave the airport (e.g. for a stopover tour), you'll need a tourist visa.

How long will the visa take?

Usually 1–3 working days. We recommend filing a few days before your flight.

Ethiopia e-Visa from Israel

Ethiopia lets Israeli citizens obtain an electronic tourist visa online, without visiting an embassy. You apply on the official government portal and choose between a 30-day and a 90-day visa. The application includes personal details, passport details, an accommodation address, a photo, and a passport scan. We complete and file all of it for you in Hebrew, after a human check.

Beware of fake sites

Ethiopia has a single official government site for visa applications, and its immigration authority explicitly warns against look-alike fake sites. We file only through the official portal, and show the government fee transparently, separately from our service fee — so you know exactly what you're paying for.
