Israel is a visa-waiver country for New Zealand, so Israeli citizens don't need a visa for a short visit — but must obtain an electronic travel authority (NZeTA) before flying. What is the IVL levy?
The tourism & conservation levy (IVL) is a mandatory NZD 100 government charge collected together with the NZeTA. It's included in the fee we show transparently.
How long is the NZeTA valid?
Up to 2 years for multiple entries, each stay up to 3 months — as long as your passport is valid. Each entry also requires a Traveller Declaration (NZTD).
Do I also need a Traveller Declaration?
Yes. In addition to the NZeTA, all travelers complete a digital Traveller Declaration (NZTD) before entry. We'll explain exactly how and when.
