Before you land

The TDAC is only filed within 72 hours before arrival. Have your flight number and hotel address ready. Screenshot the confirmation for check-in.

Day 1 — temples and the river

Wat Pho (Reclining Buddha), Wat Arun across the river, and a boat in the afternoon to skip the traffic. Cover shoulders and knees.

Day 2 — palace and food

The Grand Palace in the morning (long queues — go early), Chinatown or Yaowarat in the afternoon, and a night market in the evening. BTS/MRT beat taxis at rush hour.

Day 3 — markets or a onward flight

Chatuchak Market if it's a weekend, or a more modern Bangkok (Lumphini / Siam). Flying to the islands — short domestic hops from Don Mueang or Suvarnabhumi. If you re-enter Thailand after Cambodia or Laos — you need a new TDAC.

Entry rules change frequently and the final decision always rests with border authorities. Always verify with an official source close to your travel date.
