Before you fly
Israelis need an Azerbaijan e-Visa — single entry, up to 30 days. Apply at least 5–7 days before your flight. Without an approved visa you may be denied boarding.
Day 1 — Old City and the boulevard
Start in Icherisheher: Maiden Tower, Palace of the Shirvanshahs, and the lanes inside the walls. Afternoon — Baku Boulevard along the Caspian, and sunset facing the Flame Towers.
Day 2 — Modern Baku
Heydar Aliyev Center (Zaha Hadid), Nizami Street for shopping, and an evening of plov and tea. Metro and ride-hailing are cheap — you don't need a car.
Day 3 — Gobustan or the Absheron peninsula
A day trip to Gobustan's mud volcanoes and rock carvings, or to the Ateshgah fire temple and Absheron villages. Fly home with a printed copy of your e-Visa.
